Campus Involvement

Members of Epsilon chapter strive to fulfill the words of Tri Delta’s purpose statement: “to promote and develop mutually beneficial relationships between the Fraternity and the colleges and universities where the Fraternity has established chapters, to develop qualities of unselfish leadership among its members, and to encourage them to assume, with integrity and devotion to moral and democratic principles, the highest responsibilities of college students.” These are the words that have guided and encouraged the women of Epsilon chapter for over a century now.

If one were to put a pin to represent where every Tri Delta dedicates their time and energy on a map of Knox College, one could see just how widespread and diverse the interests are of Epsilon Chapter members. Our members are involved in a wide variety of clubs and activities on campus, such as Basketball, Cross Country, Track and Field, Theatre, Pre-Law Club, Pre-Health Club, Ultimate Frisbee, International Club, Choir, Admissions, CTL, Food Recovery Network, and many others. What is possibly more impressive than the extensive list of organizations Tri Deltas have dedicated themselves to is the fact that so many of our members hold leadership positions within those clubs. From team captains to club presidents, the influence and presence of Tri Delta throughout campus cannot be denied.

While our widespread campus involvement is a source of pride for all of us at Epsilon chapter, we know that it is only through our diligence and dedication as individual members that we were able to gain the respect and admiration of our peers in the Knox community. While we could have achieved many accomplishments on our own, there is no doubt that the continual support, inspiration, and networking of our Deltas propel us into heights we may have never known otherwise.
